The 2025 theme for our inaugural conference, “Early Childhood: Strong Start, Strong Future,” underscores the importance of early years as the foundation for lifelong learning and success. The conference will explore how strengthening early childhood systems can improve educational outcomes and societal wellbeing.
The event will feature a keynote from Dr. Dan Wuori, Founder and President of Early Childhood Policy Solutions, a US-based bipartisan public policy consultancy focused on the needs of young children, their families, and the early years professionals who serve them. Dr. Wuori is renowned for his expertise in early childhood brain development and works alongside governors and state legislators to improve early years policy across the United States
Additionally, the conference will unveil key findings of ‘From Play to Progress: Strengthening Early Childhood Education in the Cayman Islands’, a comprehensive report commissioned by LIFE and conducted by KPMG, providing data-driven insights into the quality, access, affordability and challenges in early childhood education locally.
Established in 2012, Literacy Is for Everyone (LIFE) is the Cayman Islands’ literacy charity. LIFE’s mission is to significantly increase literacy levels by ensuring access to high-quality learning resources, fostering a culture of reading, and empowering individuals to thrive through literacy.
