Dr. Dan Wuori is the Founder and President of Early Childhood Policy Solutions, a bipartisan consultancy focused on young children, their families, and the professionals who serve them. With more than 30 years of leadership in the field, he also serves as Strategic Advisor on Early Childhood to the Saul Zaentz Charitable Foundation and previously as the founding Director of Early Childhood at The Hunt Institute in North Carolina. In these roles, Dr. Wuori works with governors and legislators nationwide to strengthen early years policy.
To parents worldwide, he is better known for his innovative use of social media, where more than 300,000 followers tune in to his daily video lessons on child development. His work was recently profiled in The New York Times, which praised his X (Twitter) account as “a font of delight and edification… educational, but also – put simply – awwwww.”
His book The Daycare Myth (2024) debuted at the top of Amazon’s education best sellers list and is now in its seventh printing. He is currently working on Wonderment: Our First Three Years, forthcoming from Ballantine Books in 2027.
