Dr. Pearlyn Henry-Burrell is a distinguished leader and advocate in early childhood education and policy, dedicated to improving the lives of children and families.
With a robust academic foundation, she holds a Doctorate in Curriculum, Assessment, and Instruction, along with Master’s degrees in Early Childhood Education, Inclusive Education, and Public Administration (Law and Public Policy).
Her extensive career encompasses diverse roles, including teacher, adjunct lecturer, supervisor, and special needs coordinator, providing her with a unique perspective that spans from the classroom to high-level administration. She is currently on secondment as the Acting Principal of Theoline McCoy Primary School, in addition to her substantial role as Policy Advisor and Manager for Early Childhood Education in the Ministry of Education and Training, where she shapes policies that directly impact young children and their families.
